IODE Nova Scotia Provincial Chapter Bursary
In 1956 the Provincial Chapter Bursary Fund was set up. Bursaries amounting to $100 were awarded annually to students graduating from Grade 12 and planning to attend college or university, and based on financial need rather than grades. All Primary Chapters contribute to this fund. Over the years the value of these bursaries has increased to $500.
